I was happy to have some wide-ranging photos in the new issue of Cross Country Skier magazine. Above, the fantastically beautiful Pokljuka plateau and the Julian Alps in Slovenia. The others: northern lights in Rauhala, Finland, at about 67 degrees north latitude, a well-groomed trail at Craftsbury, VT, Outdoor Center, plus a dramatic face-first landing at Penny Rand’s Cochran’s Nordic Cross last spring.
